Eleusinian Mystery by GigaBeast Eleusinian Mystery by GigaBeast
My newest deviation!

This is definatelly my best spacescape so far. The title is really random. I just opened up my Mythology book and chose the first phrase that looked cool, lol!
The nubula was made using my newly developed technique, maybe I will make a tutorial someday, but definatelly not in the near future. I can't believe I managed to fit this into my tight schedual, but I did somehow and I worked really hard on this one.

Tech Specs:

Photoshop CS2 from scratch.
Canon S80 for picture taken by me.
About 10 hourse altogether.
Too many layers to count.
Original is 3400X5200pxl! lol

Comments and favs are highly appreciated! And please give advanced critique if you can!
I am going to make this available as a print soon.

Cheers,
GigaBeast

Very nicely done. My personal favourite aspect of the image is the purple nebula in the lower mid-left. Beautifully done. As is the one in the top left for the most part, although I am less than certain I like the effect occuring the very top left, on the border line. The solid blue there doesn't seem to work to my eye.

As for the central nebula itself? Perhaps a tad too bright, or rather, to consistantly bright. It's outlining edges though? Very nice.

The star field I love. Very simple, yet very precisely done. Perfect for the scene imo.

Overall, I like the piece. Well done. :)

Awesome, the clouds rising off the landscape mesh very well with the space part of the piece. The nebulas look great as well, almost like rips in space. There's a small orange glow right above the hills on the right side, no biggy though. All in all, love the concept.
